The front panel design is snowplow friendly and the composite plastic is both impact resistant and UV fade resistant. Baseball bats have little effect on the Mail Safe mailbox. In fact, if the mailbox were to be hit by an automobile, the pedestal is designed to break away upon impact, with the mail compartment intact! And as if that were not enough, the interior is waterproof and maintains a cool interior temperature, which becomes especially important if medications are mailed to your address.
