This replacement post is the basic Classic post WITH the brass cuff option. It is available in all Classic Mailbox colors and brass finishes and is constructed from the same high-quality cast aluminum you have come to expect from Gaines' products.  Please note that replacement parts are NOT returnable.  It is therefore advised that you check with our live assistant when ordering any replacement parts for Gaines Manufacturing Products. 

Metal and Finish
The Classic Series Mailbox Post is constructed from durable A360 rust-proof cast aluminum.  Extremely sturdy and light-weight, it is formed by pouring aluminum into a mold and subjecting it to substantial amounts of pressure.  This process produces an extremely dense material that can withstand the harshest conditions.

The brass cuff is constructed from solid brass and finished in either Hand-Polished Brass, Antique Bronze, Satin Nickel, or Verde Brass. The patina will mature when exposed to the elements, creating an antiqued look.  If you prefer the original finish, regular basic cleanings will retain the look for you.

A five-stage powder-coated paint process ensures that the Gaines Classic  Mailbox colors are consistent, durable, and that each possess a high-standard finish. Powder coating has ultraviolet ray (UV) inhibitors that protect surfaces, making the finish resistant to not only to fading, but to chipping and scratching as well.  Colors remain bright and vibrant for years to come.
